Zoheerulhaq is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice group at ZMM Kuala Lumpur office. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), graduating in 2020. That same year, he commenced his pupillage at ZMM under the guidance of Puan Nurhidayah Mohd Puzi and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022.

During his pupillage, Zoheerul gained exposure to corporate, commercial, and conveyancing matters. He assisted in legal due diligence exercises for acquisitions and IPOs, drafted various corporate and commercial agreements, and supported transactions involving corporate financing and property sale and purchase.

Following his pupillage, Zoheerul was attached to another legal firm where he expanded his legal experience to include trademark registration, interest schemes and estate planning.

He then further ventured into the equity crowdfunding sector at Pitch Platforms Sdn Bhd, a leading equity crowdfunding platform in Malaysia, where he played an active role in corporate restructuring exercises, investment exits, exercise of preferential share rights, corporate secretarial work, and shareholder communications. Notably, he was also involved in the launch of Malaysia’s first equity crowdfunding secondary market.

With continued passion for corporate law, Zoheerul has returned to ZMM, where he currently handles a wide range of complex corporate, commercial, and conveyancing matters.

Off the field, Zoheerul enjoys exploring the history of the Malay world, learning about prehistoric creatures, and reading Japanese manga.
