Putri Sabrina Yaakup Khan

Putri is an associate in ZMM based at the Kuala Lumpur branch. She is a graduate from the International Islamic University Malaysia and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2021. Putri served her pupillage in ZMM under the tutelage of Mr. Alan Wong Teck Wei. She is currently part of the Corporate & Commercial and Conveyancing Team.

Putri has assisted in preparing and conducting due diligence exercises on various company acquisition matters including company listings on Bursa Malaysia. She manages property transactions from the preparation of Sale and Purchase Agreements to loan documentation on project work, sub-sale transactions and corporate land sale matters.

Putri enjoys playing the French Horn. Back in the day, she was a member of her high school orchestra team and used to participate in international competitions which led towards her victory in winning several awards. During her free time, she enjoys unwinding by watching her favorite Netflix shows.

Cliff is a senior member of ZMM and has been based at the Kuala Lumpur branch since 2009. He practices in banking and finance litigation (Islamic & conventional) inter alia involving cross-border financing, syndicated facilities, insolvencies and receivership as well as performance bonds.

He also defended various actions against financial institutions involving issues of negligence, tort of conspiracy, statutory/fiduciary duties and civil fraud.
